Zsolnay says foundation is ready for a major fundraising campaign following record growth.
Tamás “Tom” Zsolnay is retiring as president and CEO of the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
Zsolnay announced his decision after more than six years leading the foundation, saying it is time for a new leader to take UHKF into its next chapter.
During his tenure, UHKF raised $189.1 million between September 2019 and August 2025, compared with $70.8 million raised during the previous six-year period.
The foundation also increased its donor base, monthly donors and fundraising programs while developing a strategic plan for 2022 to 2027. It also completed a campaign feasibility study recommending a comprehensive fundraising campaign with a goal of $200 million to $220 million.
Zsolnay says the foundation’s team is well positioned to take on the campaign and continue supporting Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Providence Care.
The UHKF board have begun the search for his successor that is to be announced.
