There is an online survey out and a public information session on Sept 16.
The City of Kingston is looking for ways to engage the community on housing solutions.
They have put out an online survey at the Get Involved Kingston website.
Residents can provide input and read draft recommendations based on research in other Canadian municipalities as well as review comments and ideas received at housing engagements this past spring and read about existing policies and procedures and best practices.
The City will also host an informal drop-in information session at the Invista Centre on Sept 16 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.
City Council passed a motion earlier this year that looks to examine how the City engages residents on housing solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Residents can fill out the survey until Sept 21.
