“Canada Celebrates” will bring FIFA World Cup 2026 fan events to Kingston on June 27.
Kingston is set to get a taste of the FIFA World Cup 2026 as FIFA rolls out a nationwide fan tour this summer.
The “Canada Celebrates” program will stop in Kingston on June 27, bringing live match viewings, football-themed activities, music, food and cultural events to the community.
The tour includes 38 stops in 34 communities across Canada, with organizers saying more than 75 per cent of residents will be within a two-hour drive of an event.
Running from June 11 to July 19, the program aims to connect fans beyond host cities Toronto and Vancouver.
FIFA vice-president Vittorio Montagliani says the tour will help build excitement and create a lasting legacy for the sport across the country.
Canada is co-hosting the tournament with the United States and Mexico, marking one of the biggest sporting events ever held in North America.
