Police were initially called Friday night about a suspicious activity.
A Kingston woman is facing charges after an incident in a townhouse complex.
Kingston Police were called to the complex on Montreal St. Friday night about a suspicious activity.
Investigators say a woman was screaming at people accusing them of taking her child.
They say residents, in turn, complained to police that the woman was trying to take their children.
Investigators were able to identify the individual and it was later determined that she allegedly spat at someone during the incident.
The 40-year-old was picked up on Monday after an arrest warrant was issued.
They say they are also going to be making an assessment of her well-being.
