If you are out of beer or need somewhere to keep the kids busy, here are a list of places in Kingston that will be open or closed for Victoria Day.
- All banks and government offices will be CLOSED for the holiday
- The City of Kingston administrative office will be CLOSED on Monday
- Kingston Recycling Centre, recreation facilities, library branches, PumpHouse Museum, Kingston Grand Theatre Box Office, and Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning will all be CLOSED for the holiday
- There is no garbage collection or mail delivery on Monday
- Kingston Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday
- Kingston Access Services will operate on a limited schedule on Monday
- All LCBO stores will be CLOSED
- The Beer Store locations on Concession St. and Midland Ave. in Kingston will be OPEN Monday from 11 am to 6 pm
- Portsmouth Olympic Harbour and Confederation Basin marinas will both be OPEN
- All splash pads will be OPEN on Monday
- Grocery stores will be OPEN with reduced hours
- Walmart will be OPEN on Monday from 7 am to 10 pm
- Cataraqui Centre will be OPEN from 11 am to 5 pm on Victoria Day
