Most municipal services are closed, retail and grocery stores are open.
The unofficial start of summer brings with it a number of places that will be open or closed for the Victoria Day holiday.
There will be no garbage collection on Monday, collection will occur the day after your regular collection day. There will also be no mail delivery on Monday.
Post office, banks, government offices, Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro, Kingston Disposal Site, recreational facilities, library branches, PumpHouse Museum, and Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning will all be closed on Monday.
Portsmouth Olympic Harbour will be open.
Retail and grocery stores, including Cataraqui Centre and Walmart, will be open on Monday, some with limited hours.
LCBO stores in Kingston will be closed. The Beer Store will be closed expect for Concession St and Midland Ave locations, both will be open from 11 am to 6 pm.
Kingston Transit buses will operate on a Sunday schedule on Victoria Day. Kingston Accessible Bus Service will operate on a limited service.
Confederation Park will be hosting a fireworks display Saturday night, and a free outdoor event on Monday with live music and a drone show presented by Slush Puppie.
