Annual Resolve Counselling Services fundraiser will help provide more than 150 counselling sessions across Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington.
Resolve Counselling Services Canada says its 2026 Walk for Wellness has raised more than $16,000 to support mental health services across Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington.
The annual fundraiser took place May 23 at Lake Ontario Park, bringing together community members, sponsors, volunteers and local organizations in support of accessible counselling services.
Resolve says the money raised will stay in the region and help fund more than 150 counselling sessions for individuals and families, improving access to mental health care for those who need it most.
Executive Director Stafford Murphy thanked everyone who participated, donated and volunteered, saying the community's support will help ensure more people can access counselling without facing challenges alone.
The Walk for Wellness is Resolve's signature fundraising event and aims to raise awareness while strengthening community connections.
Resolve Counselling Services provides individual, family and couples counselling, child and youth programs, intimate partner violence supports, developmental disability services, financial wellness programs and trauma supports.
The organization also thanked its Gold Sponsors, KEYS and Fusix, for supporting this year's successful event.
