Canadian Museum of Health Care hosts Family Day event for children ages 0 to 10.
The Canadian Museum of Health Care will once again transform into a Teddy Bear Hospital this Family Day.
On Monday, Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., children and their families are invited to bring teddy bears or other favourite stuffed animals for a special check-up. Trained “teddy doctors and nurses” will examine and treat any bumps, lumps and bruises.
The annual event is designed to help young children feel more comfortable about visiting doctors and hospitals. Through hands-on activities and playful learning, kids can explore basic health care in a fun and welcoming setting.
Organizers say the event is suitable for children from newborn to age 10.
Tickets are $5 per person, and families must pre-register for a specific time slot in advance.
More information and registration details are available through the Canadian Museum of Health Care.
