A Kingston resident was arrested on an unrelated matter and was later charged in connection to the investigation.
Charges are being laid after Kingston Police cracked a break and enter case.
Officers were on patrol in the Rideau Heights area Tuesday afternoon when they spotted an individual who they know was wanted on outstanding charges.
They made an arrest, and a search turned up a set of keys to a Kawasaki motorcycle and a can of bear spray.
Investigators say they went through security footage of a local business that was recently broken into.
It revealed that the keys belong to a motorcycle that was stolen from the business.
They later recovered the stolen motorcycle in a vacant wooded area off Montreal St. as well as two other motorcycles that were reported stolen in other jurisdictions.
An 18-year-old from Kingston remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
Investigators say arrangements are being made to return the stolen motorcycles to their rightful owners.
