Getting alerts about severe weather and emergencies in Kingston can now be sent to your phone.
Kingston Police will now be communicating alerts and notices on the Alertable app.
The Calgary-based Alertable app allows police to send information on facilities, roads, parks, schools, various municipal services, pandemics, fires, floods, severe weather, other hazards and more.
Residents are being encouraged to use the app to stay alert and informed.
Alertable is available for iOS and Android devices.
