OPP say a vehicle travelling on Westport Rd. struck a rock cut and left the roadway.
One man is dead following a single-vehicle crash northwest of Kingston.
Frontenac OPP were called to an area of Westport Rd. and Hinchinbrooke Rd. near Godfrey Friday afternoon.
They along with Frontenac Paramedics and Central Frontenac Fire and Rescue arrived to find a car that had left the roadway around Noon.
Investigators say the crash occurred when the vehicle struck a rock cut.
They say the lone occupant of the vehicle, a 70-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting in the investigation.
Westport Rd. was closed for several hours.
