The Canadian span sidewalk will be closed Monday through Friday to allow crews to complete maintenance activities.
The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority has announced seasonal sidewalk access changes for pedestrians using the international bridge crossing.
Officials say the U.S. span sidewalk is now officially open for the season. However, the Canadian span sidewalk will be closed Monday through Friday to allow crews to complete maintenance activities.
The Canadian span sidewalk will reopen on Saturdays and Sundays during the maintenance period, allowing pedestrian access on weekends only.
Bridge officials are reminding pedestrians to plan ahead and follow all posted signage and safety instructions while work continues on the Canadian side of the crossing.
