Kingston residents can learn how garbage trucks, transit buses, and others operate.
The City of Kingston is holding a public works open house this Saturday at the public works headquarters on Division St.
In a news release, the family-friendly event will feature vehicles and machinery from public works and other City departments including solid waste, Kingston Transit, and Utilities Kingston.
There will be hands-on activities and demonstrations, as well as information about many City programs and initiatives.
This is part of public works week happening in cities across Canada and the United States until May 24.
The public works open house runs from 9 am to 12 Noon.
Parking will be available at the Railway Street entrance to the public works property.
