A 28-year-old from Kingston is facing a number of charges.
A Kingston resident is facing charges after police were called about a disturbance in the downtown.
Officers went to an area of Princess St and Barrie St on Saturday around 5:30 pm.
They arrived and arrested an individual without incident.
Investigators say there were reports of someone assaulting members of the public and causing significant damage to a business.
They say the arrest occurred within ten minutes of the initial call demonstrating the swiftness of the police response.
A 28-year-old was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
