Owners hoping for safe return of artifact
Kingston Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a sacred buffalo robe that was stolen from a building near Lower Union and Wellington streets on the morning of April 7.
The robe holds deep spiritual and cultural meaning, and the owners are pleading for its safe return.
Anyone who may have seen the robe or knows where it might be is asked to contact Const. Ashley Jackson at ajackson@kingstonpolice.ca.
Police say the theft is being taken seriously and they hope the community can help bring the robe back to its rightful owners.
Tips can also be given anonymously by calling Kingston Police at 613-549-4660, ext. 0 and asking to stay anonymous.
