Police say window peeper fought with resident before fleeing Kingston home

Investigators believe suspect in Earl Street voyeurism cases may live in the area

Kingston Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man linked to multiple reported acts of voyeurism in the Earl Street area.

Police say the incidents began in late March 2026, with the suspect allegedly peering through the windows of several homes in the neighbourhood.

Investigators say the latest incident happened shortly after midnight on May 20. At about 12:20 a.m., the suspect was allegedly seen looking through the window of a residence from a driveway.

According to police, a resident confronted the man, leading to a physical altercation before the suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.

The suspect is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old with a medium build, short blondish-gray hair and standing about five-foot-nine. Police believe he may live near Earl Street.
