An officer on patrol recognized the high-end bicycle which was stolen from a home in a break and enter earlier this year.
Kingston Police recovered a stolen bicycle near the downtown.
Members of the CORE unit were conducting patrol on Wednesday when an officer noticed someone with a high-end bicycle on Rideau St.
Investigators say the individual spotted the officer and immediately took off on the bike.
They say the individual was located along with the bicycle on Corrigan St. and was arrested.
A further investigation revealed that the bike was stolen from a home during a break and enter earlier this year.
A search of the individual turned up a foldable knife and a quantity of suspected crystal meth.
A 29-year-old of no-fixed-address is facing charges and is out with a future court date.
The bicycle was returned to its rightful owner.
