Customers and staff blindsided by the sudden closure.
Customers and staff at Paulette Auto Sales were caught off guard when they arrived to find that the used car dealership on Gardiners Rd. is permanently closed.
A letter from the building's landlord, a numbered company signed by Doug Springer of Springer Group of Companies, was posted on the front door of the main showroom.
It read that the tenant abandoned the premises with no intention of resuming business and thus was in breach of the lease.
The letter was dated April 28 though it is not known when exactly the dealership closed.

The site is currently empty with no vehicles on the lot or inside the building.
KingstonDaily.ca tried to contact the dealership only to receive a phone message saying the number is no longer in service.
We also contacted the Springer Group of Companies for a comment.
