Investigators are seeking a white or silver four-door pickup truck with a light bar on the roof or in the grill.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for public help following a collision that destroyed a hydro pole in South Frontenac Township, west of Harrowsmith. The incident occurred just after midnight on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, on Petworth Road.
A vehicle, believed to be a white or silver four-door pickup truck with a light bar on the roof or in the grill, left the road and struck the pole, snapping it in two and leaving wires dangerously low. The driver, described as a white, heavy-set male, fled the scene after being seen speaking with someone in another vehicle.
The pickup likely has significant front-end and right passenger door damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Frontenac OPP at 1-888-310-1122 (incident E251431386) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
