Utilities Kingston was named one of Canada's 2025 Best Safety Cultures in the Workplace by Canadian Occupational Safety.
Utilities Kingston are being recognized for their exceptional commitment to employee safety and well-being.
In a news release, there is a rigorous two-step evaluation process involving the Utilities Kingston’s health and safety team and employees outlining the organization's safety initiatives.
That is followed by an employee survey measuring satisfaction with key safety practices.
An overall employee satisfaction rating of 80 per cent or higher is needed to qualify for the prestigious 5-Star Safety Culture Award.
That recognizes companies that embed health and safety into every level of their operations, from leadership to front-line staff.
