Three entrepreneurs were honoured at the annual meeting of the Kingston Economic Development Corporation.
Three inspiring entrepreneurs were honoured at the third annual Kingston Newcomer Entrepreneur Awards on April 28 during Kingston Economic Development Corporation’s annual meeting.
The awards, presented in partnership with the Kingston Immigration Partnership, recognize newcomer entrepreneurs in three categories.

Patrick Egbunonu received the Community Builder Award for his work at Informanos Analytics & Artificial Intelligence.
The Start-up of the Year Award went to Vietnamese co-founders Anh Tran Ly and Tu Nguyen of CO2L Tech, who are turning carbon into useful chemicals.
Phuong MacNeil, owner of Handy Fairies Cleaning Services, won the Inspirational Entrepreneur Award.
Organizers say the awards celebrate more than success—they honour the courage it takes to start a new life and business.
