The first customer in the Kingston Centre Store was a former employee that worked at old location for over four decades.
If you didn't realize it already, the new Canadian Tire store at the Kingston Centre is now open.
There was a soft opening of the new store on Thursday.
It replaces the one on the east side of the centre that closed last Sunday.
The very first customer in the new store was Kevin who used to work at the old location for 46 years.
He told FLY-FM's Reid and Ben that he went to the new Canadian Tire store to buy an oriole feeder.
No word on when an official grand opening of the new 66,000 sq. ft. store that is situated next to Loblaw's will take place.
