Kingston Police are asking for the public’s help after reports of a possible stranded individual along Highway 401.
On March 16, 2025, around 7:45 p.m., officers responded to calls about a person waving for help on a small piece of land between the Montreal Street and Highway 15 exits. A second caller reported seeing the same individual about 200 feet from the roadway.
Kingston Police and Kingston Fire and Rescue conducted aerial video searches using drones with thermal imaging, along with physical patrols, but found no one.
Authorities are now seeking information about the person’s identity and well-being. Anyone with details is urged to call Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 ext. "0".
