The funds goes to support prostate cancer care at KHSC.
The final totals are in from the 2025 Power of Hope golf tournament.
The annual fundraiser on in support of prostate cancer care at Kingston Health Sciences Centre generated $176,300.
In the five years of the tournament, it has raised more than $740,000.
In a news release, the money supports KHSC’s surgical robotics program which provides cutting edge, minimally invasive procedures.
They say by using small incisions, compared to traditional surgery, it will lead to shorter hospital stays, faster recovery and a quicker return to normal activities.
This year's event was held Aug. 25 at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club.
