A 31-year-old is facing a number of charges stemming from an attack in an north end neighbourhood.
An arrest has been made in connection to an assault case in the city's north end.
Kingston Police were investigating an assault that occurred back on the evening of July 14.
A man was found in an alleyway in the area of Compton St. and Wilson St. with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the victim's injuries were caused by an edged weapon.
Grenville County OPP arrested a man in Prescott on Thursday who investigators in Kingston say is the suspect in the case.
The 31-year-old from Kingston is facing a number of charges and was transported back to Kingston.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Investigators believe there was no threat to public safety.
