Sydenham's Jacob O'Reilly won gold in Computer Aided Manufacturing earlier this month in Toronto.
Some students in the Limestone District School Board took home some hardware at the 2026 Skills Ontario Competition.
Jacob O'Reilly of Sydenham High School won gold in the Computer Aided Manufacturing category.
The team of Quinn Sproule, Clarke Lemke, Parker Beeg, and Jasper Keller from the North Addington Education Centre finished the Home Team Building event with a silver.
Amanda Neddow of Napanee District Secondary School took home bronze in Auto Painting.
Students from the Limestone District School Board competed in 19 categories in the secondary school competition. The elementary school competition saw 16 students competing in four categories.
In addition to the medals, some students also received monetary awards and the opportunity to advance to the Skills Canada National Competition, and potentially the WorldSkills Competition.
The provincial competition was held May 4 and 5 in Toronto.
