One person was taken to hospital after police responded to call about a person in distress.
Residents in a Notch Hill Rd neighbourhood were awaken by a large police presence.
Kingston Police confirmed to KingstonDaily.ca that they were called to an apartment complex early Tuesday morning about a person in distress.
They say they were able to remove the person from the premises without incident and was taken to hospital for evaluation.
Residents, meanwhile, were evacuated and taken to awaiting transit bus. They were later allowed back inside.
