Visitors to Sydenham Point Beach will see something new.
The Township of South Frontenac announced that they are embarking on a project to enhance the landscaping at the beach.
There will be new sand added to two existing sandy areas and wooden borders will be installed around these areas. There will also be large stones placed along the sloped area of the southeast beach.
The work began on Monday and is expected to be completed by Wednesday.
The Township says the affected project spaces will be fenced off during the construction phase and will not be accessible to the public.
