Many will helped
The Kingston Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, has launched the Not-For-Profit Academy, a workshop series aimed at helping local non-profits overcome business challenges.
The series will begin with two marketing-focused workshops.
The first session, Strategic Communication Planning, will take place virtually on October 30, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. The second session, Audience Mapping and Key Messages for Not-For-Profits, will follow on November 13, 2024, at the same time.
With over 150 registered non-profits in Kingston, this initiative seeks to enhance operational effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
Workshops are designed to address specific gaps identified through consultations with not-for-profit leaders.
Not-for-profits significantly contribute to the local economy, providing vital services and employment.
