The museum won Top Small Museum award at last week's Attraction Ontario's annual general meeting.
There will be a new and different kind of artifact on display at the Great Lakes Museum in Kingston.
The museum recently won an award in the Top Small Museum category (Under 100,000 visitors annually) at the 2026 Ontario's Choice awards.
The award was presented last Thursday at the Attraction's Ontario Annual General Meeting in Toronto.
In a news release, the museum says the recognition is especially meaningful as it was determined by a public vote.
The Ontario's Choice Awards celebrate excellence in tourism and recognize attractions that deliver outstanding visitor experiences across the province.
