The spring raffle collected more than $85K which the largest pot to date.
A Kingston resident is the winner of the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board's spring 50-50 raffle.
Cierra Beattie collected $42,912.50 after her ticket was drawn on Friday.
Beattie bought a ticket after learning about the raffle at her son's school.
In a news release, the $85,825.00 collected in the spring raffle was the largest raffle pot since they began in 2025.
The other half of the pot will go to the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation which helps families of catholic school students in need.
