Sam Hudson served as an extra in "I Will Find You" starring Sam Worthington.
There are many recognizable landmarks in Netflix's new television series "I Will Find You".
One of them is the historic Kingston Penitentiary where much of the series was filmed.
The show stars Sam Worthington who plays a father wrongfully convicted of murdering his son. He breaks out of prison after learning his son may still be alive.
There were plenty of locals who served as extras in the production. One of them is Kingston resident Sam Hudson.
Hudson tells FLY FM's Reid and Ben that he found out about the production from his brother who told him they were looking for extras.
He says he went there not sure of what role he might play.
Worthington was in Kingston to film his scenes at the penitentiary.
Hudson describes the scene he was in.
Shooting for "I Will Find You" began in April 2025 and production wrapped up five months later.
Hudson says between then and the airing of the first episode last Thursday, he could not divulge to anyone what the premise of the show was.
Hudson says has watched a couple of episodes of the eight-part series. He says the scene he was in was quick so his family, friends and co-workers may miss catching him on the screen.
