Local Tim Horton's are putting out a special donut for Special Olympics Canada.
The limited-edition vanilla-dipped, chocolate donut with sprinkles on one-half and whipped topping in the middle is available this weekend only starting this Friday.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from each donut sold will go directly Special Olympics Canada supporting programs that help thousands of athletes with an intellectual disability.
Kingston Police announced that they are once again supporting this initiative that promotes inclusion.
In a news release, they say the partnership between Tim Horton's, Special Olympics and Kingston Police helps raise both critical funds and awareness for the Special Olympics movement.
The limited-edition donut is only available until this Sunday.
