The incident began outside in the RioCan Centre parking lot on Gardiners Rd.
Kingston Police Service are investigating an alleged assault inside a grocery store.
Investigators say it began in the parking lot at the RioCan Centre on Gardiners Rd on March 16 around 7:30 pm.
They say the victim and the suspect had an interaction before entering the Food Basics store where the suspect made forceful contact knocking the victim into a solid metal structure. The suspect then left the store and drove off in a grey/silver Honda SUV.
There is no word on whether the victim suffered any injuries.
Investigators are looking for a middle-aged black male with a mustache last seen wearing a dark shirt, khaki pants and a khaki-colored ‘flat-cap’.
