Arrest made in the investigation
Kingston Police have made an arrest in connection to a stolen vehicle.
They received a report on Saturday that a vehicle was stolen from the area of Stephen Street and Patrick Street at around 8:45 am.
Investigators say an officer was able to locate the stolen vehicle a few minutes later going north on Division Street.
They say the lone occupant was taken into custody after a rolling traffic stop but not before making threats towards the arresting officers.
An investigation revealed the driver is not from Kingston, has been suspended three times from driving in Ontario, and is criminally prohibited from driving in Canada.
A 39-year-old is facing a number of charges and is also wanted on an unrelated charge in Quebec.
The accused is being held for a bail hearing.
