They say there are no public safety concerns but residents are being asked to be vigilant.
Kingston Police Service are keeping an eye on the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
In a post on X, they say they are monitoring the evolving situation in Iran and any potential impacts in the community.
They go on to say that there are no known concerns for safety in the community but residents can expect to see an increase in police presence especially around places of worship.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to contact Kingston Police.
