The individual was found deceased along the eastern shoreline on Sunday.
An investigation is underway after a body was discovered in Navy Bay near Royal Military College.
Kingston Police say the deceased individual was found along the eastern shoreline Sunday afternoon around 3:30.
Investigators with the major crime division are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.
While the individual has been identified and family have been notified, investigators are not releasing the name to protect the integrity of the investigation which is still in its infancy.
