How much will the U.S. Election matter for Canadians?
Those Canadians not paying attention to the political drama unfolding south of the border should be.
That’s the word from History professor Dr. David Sheinin, who says the result of the November 5th presidential election run-off will have an impact on policies set in Ottawa.
Sheinin has been watching the race closely and says it's unclear which candidate would actually be better for Canada.
Dr. Sheinin says the fact that American presidential elections have become increasingly hyper-focused on personalities of the candidates as opposed to their platforms isn’t helping provide any clarity for voters.
The U.S. Election is on November 5th.
