A Frankville man is facing charges in a month-long investigation.
Gananoque Police are offering gratitude to Kingston Police in the arrest of a Frankville man.
Officers in Gananoque spotted a man, who was known to be prohibited from driving, operating a vehicle back on April 16.
When they approached him at a local gas station, the man attempted to flee.
A struggle ensued, during which the suspect resisted arrest and intentionally rammed a police cruiser with his vehicle before fleeing the scene.
In the interest of public safety, officers did not pursue.
Investigators say with help from Kingston Police, the suspect was located last Wednesday at an establishment in Kingston and taken into custody without further incident.
The 33-year-old faces several charges, including assault with a weapon, resisting arrest, dangerous operation, flight from police, and five counts of operating while prohibited.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
