A 61-year-old woman from Kingston died at the scene.
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a snowmobile and a pick-up truck in Loyalist Township.
Police say the crash happened Thursday, January 29, 2026, around 3:15 p.m. on County Road 5, between County Road 4 and Newburgh Road. Officers from the Lennox and Addington County detachment responded to the scene after reports of a collision on the roadway.
According to police, a snowmobile collided with a pick-up truck. The rider of the snowmobile, a 61-year-old woman from Kingston, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupants of the pick-up truck were not injured.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from an Ontario Provincial Police Technical Collision Investigation officer and a Collision Reconstructionist from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team.
