Two on motorcycle killed in collision with another vehicle
Tragedy struck late when a motor vehicle collision claimed two lives on Bath Road, west of Tanner Drive.
The Kingston Police Patrol Division responded to the incident at approximately 11:00 p.m., where they found a westbound vehicle and an eastbound motorcycle involved in the crash.
The collision resulted in the deaths of the motorcycle's operator, aged 32, and a 22-year-old passenger. In addition, a cyclist in the vicinity suffered minor injuries.
The Kingston Police Traffic Safety Unit and Forensic Identification Unit arrived on the scene to conduct an investigation. Bath Road was closed for roughly eight hours to facilitate their work, with the eastbound lanes reopening around 7:30 a.m. The westbound lanes remain closed as the investigation continues.
