It is taking place outside the Firehouse Subs location on Princess St. this Saturday.
Kingston families will get the chance to climb inside real fire trucks and meet local heroes as part of Firehouse Subs’ Touch-the-Truck event on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The family-friendly event is happening at the Kingston Centre location on Princess Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s designed to be fun, educational and interactive, giving kids and parents a close-up look at working fire trucks while celebrating first responders.
Touch-the-Truck is part of a nationwide celebration of First Responder’s Month, with participating Firehouse Subs restaurants across Canada hosting similar events. Organizers say it’s a unique way for communities to connect with firefighters and emergency crews while showing appreciation for their service.
Families are encouraged to arrive early, as times and activities may vary by location. For full details and participating restaurants across the country, visit Firehouse Subs online.
