Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes MPP says having an east-west energy corridor that has provinces working together would provide energy security in the face of tariffs.
Ontario Government House Leader Steve Clark says the Ford Government continues to work to land a pipeline in Ontario.
One of the ports involved could also be very close to home too.
Clark says to have an east-west energy corridor that has provinces working together would provide energy security in the face of tariffs.
He says its a long-term project, but again a country-uniting one as western oil is sent to the east to be refined on Canadian soil.
Clark is optimistic that provincial governments can come together to work together.
