City seeking input on housing and homelessness in Kingston

They want to hear from residents on ways that will meet local needs.

The City of Kingston will be looking for public input on their 10-year housing and homelessness plan.

The plan guides how housing and homelessness services are delivered locally and coordinated across the city and in Frontenac County.

The City issued a news release saying the review will help identify current needs, gaps and priorities to inform the updated plan and influence future decision-making.

They say by sharing experiences, the community can help ensure housing and support services meet local needs and reflect diverse voices.

There is a survey that will be out April 29 providing an opportunity for residents to share their insights on current challenges and areas for improvement. The survey runs until May 31.

There is also a webinar scheduled for May 7 at 6 pm and open houses during the month of May.
