Residents will see how the draft builds on community input received to date.
The City of Kingston is holding a virtual open house on the second draft of the City's Official Plan.
It is happening on Monday between 6pm and 8pm on Zoom.
Residents will get an opportunity to hear directly from the project team and learn how the second draft builds on community input received to date.
The Official Plan is a document that guides municipal land use over a certain number of years.
The City says this helps ensure Kingston remains livable, equitable and prosperous as it grows.
The virtual open house was suppose to have taken place in March along with a special Council meeting on the second draft. Both were scrubbed as community groups were concerned about the City expanding its urban boundary to accomodate growth.
