Hundreds raise thousands to fight the disease
Pink wave after pink wave of runners crossed the finish line yesterday at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, all for a good cause for some incredible people.
The CIBC Run for the Cure was huge success with over $170-thousand raised.
Run Director Diane Sabourin was moved by the show of support and blown away by the results.
Sabourin tells KingstonDaily.ca nearly everyone has been touched by breast cancer in one way or another.
Sabourin says close to 600 participants took part.
She, and all involved in getting the run off the ground expressed their gratitude to the runners, volunteers and people who came out to cheer them on.
