The head of a data-driven company in Kingston is the city's 2026 Business Person of the Year.
Patrick Egbunonu, President of Infomanos Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, won the marquee award at Thursday's Kingston Business Awards at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.
Egbunonu says winning the award came as a bit of a surprise to him.
The night honoured the Kingston area businesses that have helped not only provide products and services but also jobs and support for the communities they serve.
Egbunonu says there were others who could have won Business Person of the Year.
Surprised seemed to have been the reaction of the night.
Lionhearts won the Non-Profit award and CEO Travis Blackmore says there were other nominees that were derserving of the award he won.

Cityflats (Employer of the Year)
The event was put on by the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce. FLY FM's Reid and Ben were the emcees.
In addition to the awards being handed out, there were performances by singer Kyra Daniel and the Kingston Dance Company.
