The search concluded on Wednesday with the recovery of a 58-year-old man from Toronto.
A tragic end to the search of a missing man off Milton Island.
Investigators with Frontenac OPP say a body was recovered by the OPP Marine Unit in the St. Lawrence River near the island Wednesday afternoon.
They say the victim is a 58-year-old man from Toronto though his name has not been released.
The OPP along with the Canadian Coast Guard and Joint Rescue Coordination Centre received a distress call on Monday after a man fell from a boat.
Investigators say the man may have struck his head on a propeller and didn't resurface.
They say the investigation into the death remains ongoing.
