BGC South East complete their operation review with flying colours

They were successful in meeting standards in five keys areas.

Post-secondary students in Kingston were not the only ones going through the pressures of exams.

The Boys and Girls Club in Kingston underwent their operational standards review this week.

The review on BGC South East was commissioned to ensure that they are meeting the standards set by Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada in five key areas: governance, administration, human resources, programming, and communications.

They say the successful completion of the OSR showed a strong commitment to consistent standards, ensuring that all services and locations reflect the same level of quality, safety, and impact.

In a news release, the peer-led review process not only validates the current practices at BGC South East but also fosters continuous improvement by encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration across clubs nationwide.

CEO of BGC South East Harold Parsons said in a statement that the achievement reflects the dedication and professionalism of the entire team. He adds that this is also reflected in the positive response from the families they are serving.
