Now's the time for the United Way's legacy fund.
United Way of KFL&A is encouraging people to continue their tradition of giving by leaving a legacy gift to the Eternity Fund.
The fund supports local programs and services year after year. Legacy gifts include donations in your will, life insurance, or gifts of real estate, securities, or retirement funds.
These options offer tax benefits and ensure your values live on in the community.
A bequest is the most common way to leave a lasting gift.
You can leave a specific amount, an asset, or a portion of your estate. Life insurance policies can also be donated by naming United Way as the owner and beneficiary.
To learn more, talk to your financial advisor or contact United Way directly at 613-542-2674 or email: endowment@unitedwaykfla.ca.
Your gift will help people in need now — and for generations to come.
